Maximize Customer and Partner Value

  • Exercises independent judgement and discretion to identify, establish, and grow customer/partner business and IT relationships in order to maximize adoption, consumption, and deployment of Microsoft technologies and solutions.
  • Works with the customer/partner to anticipate future needs, and develops solutions that enable his or her team to deliver value and solve key customer challenges.
  • Analyzes customer/partner and competitive insight to generate sales opportunities for his or her team that capture wins in new ways for Microsoft.
  • Sets annual sales plans and goals that contribute to Microsoft growth.
  • Understands and engages the broader Microsoft system of devices and services, and understands how his or her team can position that system to generate value for the customer/partner.


Drive Business Performance

  • Understands broad business priorities and strategies, and incorporates them into realistic sales plans.
  • Exercises independent judgment and discretion in order to assess investment and resource requirements, and to recommend areas of investment/reallocation for his or her team.
  • Demonstrates a deep understanding of key compete strategies in order to execute effectively against them.
  • Establishes rhythms and processes to monitor progress, pinpoint issues, and drive results through his or her team.
  • Sets a high performance bar within the organization and coaches/drives his or her team to deliver.
  • Develops a solid current and future pipeline of sales opportunities, for revenue growth, increased sales, and reliable performance.

  • Builds effective and efficient teams that work within the Microsoft ecosystem.
  • Establishes flexible processes that support key customer/partner and sales opportunities.
  • Develops and leads a diverse, talented team by providing regular coaching, performance feedback, and robust challenges, and models these behaviors for others to follow.
  • Identifies the skills and capabilities that are needed to win in a changing marketplace, and hires and develops himself or herself and others to meet the needs of the organization.
