???Responsibility: (Presale System Engineer)???
Provide pre-sales technical support to sales teams during the sales and implementation process.
Accountable for the technical validity and interoperability of solution and the direct relationship with the customers’ strategic business plans.
- Work aside the sale and solution team to strategize and engage with customers.
- Have the ability to analyze the customer’s server/storage/networking management facilities and be able to propose a compelling argument for Server/storage consolidation thru an ROI model
- Manage, monitor, and/or perform solution evaluations and Proofs-of-Concept in support of sales opportunities.
- Prepares detailed product specifications for the purpose of selling high end product and solutions.
- Contribute significant portions and/or lead responses to RFPs, RFQs and RFIs
- Provides project scoping.
- Provide reporting and feedback on customer accounts and field activities to Management.
- Build relationship and business proposition with our Partners e.g. DELLEMC, HPE, Lenovo, ACER, VMware, VEEAM, Symantec, TrendMicro etc
- Willing and comfortable with conduct of POC (Proof Of Concept), try-out and self-learn of new technologies
- Provide intrastrucure trend/product/solution training and mentoring when required.
- Must possess the ability to function autonomously delivering a high standard of work to meet the required internal/external deadlines
?? Qualifications: (Presale System Engineer) ??
- More than 5+ years working experience in IT industry, preferably in SI, distributor and vendor environment
- Degree in Engineer, IT, Computer or related fields.
- Must have good relationship building skills
- Superior written and oral communication skills, including presentation skills (in English and local language)
- Strong analysis skills and ability to find solutions using lateral thinking
- Worked in a pre-sales or technical sales environment and has responsibility of sales
