Artian | Full Stack Developer – Remote | 70K-100K

This position is a client-facing role at our Cloud Business Unit “Arctian”.

This team builds custom web and mobile software for clients. Our specialization is building modern cloud native applications. Our clients include both local Thai companies and global businesses based around the world. This is a full stack engineer position and we primarily work on AWS and Azure.

Your role will be helping to build these applications. You will work with a team of other dedicated professionals who have a goal for continuous learning.

Job Description

Key responsibilities and accountabilities

• Building full stack web applications and sites
• Managing your work during a sprint and raising up potential blockers before they occur
• Owning a particular area or vertical; proactively solving problems in that domains; and, demostraning architectural and systems thinking
• Taking on tasks that require you to collaborate with others, including potentially clients. Being able to understand these task in the context of the sprint’s goals
• Understanding how a project relates to a client’s business goals and making suggestions on how to best meet those goals
• Interacting with the open source community by selecting and evaluating which libraries to use and submitting well written bug reports and pull requests
• Thinking about the end user’s perspective to make sure we deliver highly usable and robust software
• Participating in interviewing potential new team members
• Staying on top of how the industry changes and new innovations: always be learning

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience building full stack web applications with Javascript or Typescript
• Experience building SPAs with React, Redux, Saga, Auth0, and ExpressJS required
• Experience with Material-UI and/or Tailwind CSS highly desired
• Experience with Git, GitHub/GitLab, Scrum, Agile development methodologies is required
• Possess a solid understanding of Rest and experience consuming Web APIs is required
• Possess a solid understanding of the Unix command line is required
• Experience with a cloud platform and holding a certification with AWS or Azure is desired especially with Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation, CDK, ARM Templates, etc) but not required
• Experience with Graphql and SQL queries is strongly desired
• Business level command of English is required; business level command of Thai is a plus
• Must already live in Thailand
