Principal Tasks:
As member of the global operations team you will be responsible for creating and maintaining DevOps platforms including scripts, codes and Git repository for environments, both on-premise (Windows environments) and in the cloud (mostly Azure and AWS). You will also be responsible for crucial automation and security operation tasks.
Key focus areas:
• Designing DevOps Strategy
• Implementing DevOps Development Processes
• Implementing Continuous Integration & Continuous Delivery
• Security and Compliance Management
• Implementing Application Infrastructure
Additional areas:
• Setup and maintain Windows environments
• Able to provide support 24 x 7
Your Profile
Academic background:
• Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience
Professional Experience:
You are a Senior Windows Engineer who has experiences with:
• Windows administration & IaaC
• Azure (including design creation)
• ARM templates, Bicep
• DevOps in various platforms e.g. Automation with PowerShell, Azure
• Terraform desirable
• Optional skills: AWS, Ansible
Required skill set:
• Operating Systems: Windows, Linux system administration
• Proven experience on setting up and maintaining servers and infrastructure where CI/CD runs
o On-Premise Infrastructure
o Azure and other Cloud technology
• Solid experience as a DevOps Engineer in a 24×7 uptime, including automation experience with configuration management tools.
• Scripting Skills:
o Strong scripting (e.g. PowerShell, Python) and automation skills
• Strong experience on best in class Gitflow branching processes
• Experiences with
o RESTful APIs
o REST/JSON
• Fluent oral and written English skills
• Optional:
o Familiarity with virtualization, cloud platforms and Docker management platforms, Google Kubernetes
o Working knowledge of containerization (Docker) and supporting technologies
o Knowledge of business processes or applications will be an advantage
• Some of the following exams would be preferred:
o Microsoft MCSA Certificate
o Azure Certificate (AZ-400)
o Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate OR Azure Administrator Associate.
