The H&MSP (Hosting & Manage Service Providers) channel is one of the fastest growing businesses for Microsoft. H&MSP’s will play a critical role in shaping the IT consumption model of the future as customers on-ramp to the cloud and consume more cloud services. The H&MSP team is dedicated to driving and elevating Microsoft’s relationship with Hosters, Managed Service Providers, Telcos Operators and SaaS ISV partners delivering cloud services to end customers. These partners can host cloud services on their own datacenters as well as leverage Microsoft Public Cloud offering through Cloud Services Provider (CSP) program or other syndication mechanisms. Microsoft is placing strategic emphasis on hosting providers as key go-to-market partners for Microsoft software and services for share gain in business cloud services. The H&MSP strategy encompasses working with hosting partners to go to market with a range of business offerings in both hosted Infrastructure and Applications, across all segments of the market and across private and public cloud. The H&MSP team is experiencing high growth and increased senior executives’ visibility given the strategic nature of the business for Microsoft. For information the Microsoft HMSP   

Role Description: This role reports into Thailand subsidiary and the Asia – APAC and India (Hosting & Managed Service Providers) – World Wide (WW) Sales team organization. The team focuses on driving sales of Microsoft Online Services through Operators and high-potential Service Providers, leveraging the Syndication, CSP and Hosting business models. Microsoft is well positioned to be the leader in the Cloud. Beyond a rich portfolio of products and solutions, the execution of our GTM strategy will be key to gain share and win this market. As the Channel Executive in this role, you will develop deep relationship with key telco operator and potential other operators in Thailand to drive increased share of CSP/Syndication cloud services, revenue, and a strong customer and partner experience.

Key responsibilities include:

Channel/Industry Manager –

Execution • Execute against a defined vision of Microsoft and Partner Go to Markets, fostering mutual success, leveraging our offer for Productivity, Enterprise Mobility, Infrastructure and CRM   • Be viewed as a trusted advisor and market expert regarding HSM&P cloud offers for the Industry Market • Drive executive relationships with partner’s senior level executives in sales, product and business areas to maximize sales impact • Map and understand key stakeholder teams and individuals at the account to make/influence key decisions for joint business growth   • Execute the Go-To-Market Plan for each one of the partners, including: o Define Value proposition for Office365 and Azure products, matching with partner Cloud priorities o Marketing and Sales approach: Identity the opportunity, prepare the right offer to each segment, validate content strategy to the partner sales channels, demand generation actions, internal awareness and sales reediness programs and help to define internal targets, plan incentives or other compensation areas o Follow -up the ongoing campaigns, proposing COE- correction of error, when necessary   • Establish and drive executive business reviews with partner stakeholder to track key performance indicators (KPI’s), meet the partner’s conditions of satisfaction (COS) including execution accountability, progress measurement and timelines • Drive internal alignment with key Microsoft subsidiary stakeholders to define strategy and execute on account plans.   • Proactively provide crisp and insightful internal communications to Thailand, regional and Corp HQ stakeholders

Drive Revenue Growth

Responsible for achieving/exceeding all revenue attainment to quota and commitment based accountabilities   • Manage sales pipeline and drive opportunities velocity as appropriate for managed space and enable broad sales channels to maximize revenue opportunity • Increase partner commitment to Microsoft through execution of integrated selling initiatives combining MS and partner resources to market, sell & deliver solutions based on H&SMP team strategy and priorities

Business Development

Execute (and refine) the 12-18 month account strategy for cloud services based on the H&SMP team strategy and priorities • Lead and drive Microsoft partner resources across sales, technical & marketing development to execute joint selling goals to drive capability & capacity in the market based on H&SMP cloud strategy and priorities • Execute with partner on joint business plans, delivering unique MS solutions and services to customers based on HSP cloud strategy and priorities

Position Requirements   Skills

Executive maturity: leadership with senior executives across the partner’s organization and Microsoft internal stakeholder teams to drive relationships, business strategy and plans, and identify and mitigate risks to ultimately drive sales impact. • Proven ability to influence for impact: communicating and networking effectively within the partner’s organization and Microsoft stakeholder teams. • Proven drive for results: by setting clear and challenging goals and pursuing those goals with enthusiasm and passion • Strong cross group collaboration: drive alignment and teamwork within the partner’s and Microsoft’s teams in cross-segment and cross-function dimensions • Strategic thinking: structured planning and leadership with partner’s executives and Microsoft internal stakeholder teams


Minimum 8 years of experience successfully selling and marketing technical products and services to and through partners • Minimum level 100 understanding of cloud technologies (IaaS, SaaS, PaaS) and understanding of cloud services business models (Hosters, Telcos, SaaS ISVs, MSPs) • Experience with developing and executing across all aspects of a partner-led business, including product development and launch as well as building channel programs, plus an ability to effectively communicate at all levels of an organization both internally and externally   • Proven track record of leading change in a sales environment while meeting or exceeding quota (forecast accuracy and process-driven quota attainment) • Proven experience in working effectively in subsidiary environment • Education: BA/BS degree (post graduate degree desired)
