RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Deliver Technical Projects/Pilots either as a project team member across the region for supported markets for all shared services. This will incorporate Application Installation, OS build, basic Hardware break fix issues, basic Server/ Messaging administration and physical patch and virus updates where appropriate and in line with GSK standards
- Working with teams locally and with IT regional in Asia-Pacific to provide support to strategic deployments.
- Appropriate Technical experience and/or Computing Engineer’s Degree/Computer Science required.
- General ad-hoc administrative duties.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Business skills and competencies:
- Educational Background: Current Student/Graduate (Field of study in Business IT preferred)
- A keen interest in the field of Business IT
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Proficiency in English and demonstrated ability to communicate and interact effectively with employees in the business as well in the technological area.
Behavioral skills and competencies:
- Good problem solving and analytical skills
- Good time management; able to deal with multiple tasks under deadlines
- Basic interpersonal and presentation skills
- A passion for learning and knowledge
Duration:
- Must be able to commit for a minimum of 2 months.
